All lessons are carried out by Mark, who is a fully qualified DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) with extensive experience in both professional driving and instruction. With over four decades of driving experience and a background in Greater Manchester Police, Mark brings unparalleled expertise to every lesson.
Professional Qualifications
With a Grade A on the DVSA Cardington special test, membership of the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) and the Driving Instructors Association (DIA), Mark brings extensive expertise to every lesson.
Advanced Qualifications
Mark holds the highest level of driving qualifications, including the Cardington Special Test and DIAmond certifications.
Overview
- •This is an elite examination that only qualified driving instructors can take, conducted at the DVSA training establishment in Cardington, Bedfordshire. It represents the highest standard of driving assessment.
- •The test involves:
- • 90-minute assessment on varied routes
- • Focus on higher speed driving
- • Motorway driving competency
- • Demonstration of positive, courteous attitude
- • Expert control of vehicle position and speed
Key Requirements
- •Expert handling of controls
- •Perfect road procedure
- •Excellent anticipation of other road users
- •Precise judgement of distance, speed and timing
- •Maximum of three minor driving faults allowed
Test Grades
- •Grade A – High standard of driving competence with comprehensive knowledge
- •Grade B – Safe and skillful, but lacking the highest standard
- •Grade C – Above learner level but lacking some handling skills
- •Grade D – Not meeting required safety standards
